Trips 1, 12, and 28: Caw Caw Interpretive Center and Young Birders Workshop - Meet leaders at Caw Caw. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately onto I-26 East. In 13 miles turn onto I-526 W toward Savannah, and drive 7.3 miles to Sam Rittenberg Blvd., .1 mile to Hwy. 17 South to Savannah, 10 miles and turn right into entrance to Caw Caw.

Trips 2 and 8: Francis Beidler Forest – Meet leader at Forest. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and cross over I-26 and turn left onto I-26W, 11.5 miles to exit 187, turn left on to SC-27 (Ridgeville Rd.) and to 2 miles, turn right onto US-78, 3.5 miles to Beidler Forest Rd., turn right and go 6.1 miles to entrance to Beidler Forest on right.

Trips 3: Seabrook Island North Beach – Meet leader at Mingo Point. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately turn right onto I-26 East. In 13 miles turn onto I-526 W toward Savannah, and drive 7.3 miles to Sam Rittenberg Blvd., .1 mile to Hwy. 17 South to Savannah and turn right, go 4.5 miles, turn left onto Main Rd., Kiawah Island Parkway, 18.7 miles to Mingo Point on right. Use traffic circle to go to Kiawah and not Seabrook.

Trip 4: Mingo Point/Kiawah Island – Meet leader at Mingo Point. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately turn right onto I-26 East. In 13 miles turn onto I-526 W toward Savannah, and drive 7.3 miles to Sam Rittenberg Blvd., .1 mile to Hwy. 17 South to Savannah and turn right, go 4.5 miles, turn left onto Main Rd., Kiawah Island Parkway, 18.7 miles to Mingo Point on right. Use traffic circle to go to Kiawah and not Seabrook

Trip 5: Bird Banding/Johns Island County Park – Meet leader at Mingo Point. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately turn right onto I-26 East. In 13 miles turn onto I-526 W toward Savannah, and drive 7.3 miles to Sam Rittenberg Blvd., .1 mile to Hwy. 17 South to Savannah and turn right, go 4.5 miles, turn left onto Main Rd., Kiawah Island Parkway, 18.7 miles to Mingo Point on right. Use traffic circle to go to Kiawah and not Seabrook

Trip 9: ACE Basin National Wildlife Refuge - Meet leader at Grove Plantation. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately turn right onto I-26 East. In 13 miles turn onto I-526 W toward Savannah, and drive 7.3 miles to Sam Rittenberg Blvd., .1 mile to Hwy. 17 South to Savannah and turn right, 19.2 miles to SC-174, turn left on SC-174 for 3.7 miles, turn right onto State Rd S-10-55. In two miles, turn left onto S-10-346 at ACE Basin NWR sign, 2.4 miles to Grove Plantation House.

Trips 10, 13, and 30: Old Santee Canal Park and Photography Workshop – Meet leader at Old Santee Canal Park Entrance. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and go east on 17A toward Moncks Corner for 12 miles, turn right on Mountain Pine Rd, go 1.1 miles, turn left onto Hwy. 52, and in about 3.2 miles turn right onto Stoney Landing Rd. and the park entrance will be .8 mile, pay fee and proceed to parking lot.

Trip 11: Santee National Wildlife Refuge (Pine Island Unit) – Meet leader at Parking Lot of Pine Island Unit. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and cross over I-26 and turn left onto I-26W, go 29.9 miles to exit 169B to I-95N toward Florence, in 16 miles take exit 102 for US-15/US-301, turn right on S-14-400, the turn left onto Dingle Pond Rd., in about 4 is the entrance to the refuge.

Trips 15 and 34: Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge – Meet leader at Hotel. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately turn right onto I-26 East. In 12.9 miles merge onto I-526E, in 12 miles take exit 29 to Georgetown and keep right, turn left onto Hwy. 17N, go 10.8 miles and turn right on 15 Mile Landing Rd./Sewee Rd/State Rd. S-10-584, go 3.4 miles to Bull Island Rd, turn right and the parking lot is 1.6 miles.

Trip 16 and 37: Bear Island Wildlife Management Area – Meet leader for trip 16 at hotel, meet trip leader at Bennett's Point South Carolina DNR parking lot for trip 37. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately onto I-26 East. In 13 miles turn onto I-526 W toward Savannah, and drive 7.3 miles to Sam Rittenberg Blvd., .1 mile to Hwy. 17 South to Savannah, turn right and in 33.3 miles, turn left onto Bennett's Point Rd. and drive 13 miles to TiTi Rd., turn left at entrance and meet at parking lot. For those meeting at Bennett's Point, continue driving down Bennett's Point Rd. to Bennett's Point for 3 more miles to South Carolina DNR parking lot on left.

Trips 17 and 35: Dewees Island – Meet leader at Dewees Island Ferry, Isle of Palms. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately turn right onto I-26 East. In 12.9 miles merge onto I-526E, and in 12.5 miles take exit 29 to Georgetown, keep left and follow signs to Hungryneck Blvd. and in about 1 mile turn right onto the Isle of Palms Connector (SC-517) and go 3.6 miles, turn left onto Palm Blvd., go 2.4 miles on Palm Blvd and turn right into Ferry Parking lot. Park only in visitors spaces.

Trip 18: Black River Cypress Preserve: Meet leader at Hotel. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and go east on 17A toward Moncks Corner and continue on 17A through Moncks Corner to Hwy. 41 in Jamestown (36 miles), turn left on Hwy. 41, continue on Hwy. 41 through Andrews, destination is on right after crossing the Black River, turn right and proceed to parking area.

Trips 19 and 38: Santee Coastal Reserve and Delta: Meet Leaders at hotel. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately turn right onto I-26 East. In 12.9 miles merge onto I-526E, in 12 miles take exit 29 to Georgetown and keep right, turn left onto Hwy. 17N, in 32.8 miles turn right onto South Santee Rd, and in 3.3 miles is the entrance to Santee Coastal Reserve.

Trip 21: Santee National Wildlife Refuge (Bluff Unit) – Meet leader at hotel. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and cross over I-26 and turn left onto I-26W, go 29.9 miles to exit 169B to I-95N toward Florence, in 16 miles take exit 102 for US-15/US-301 to Ft. Watson Rd, turn right onto Ft. Watson Rd. go 1.1 miles and turn left into refuge, and in .3 mile will be the visitor center parking lot.

Trip 22: Pine Bluff (Audubon SC) – Meet leader at hotel. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A,turn left and cross over I-26 and turn left onto I-26W, go 11.5 miles and take exit 187 for SC-27 toward Ridgeville (left), go 1.2 miles to US-78, turn left, go .5 miles, turn right onto SC-27S, go 1.6 miles turn right onto S. Railroad Avenue, and in about 9 miles you will come to Pine Bluff Rd, turn left and parking will be behind open metal gate on dirt road about 1.2 mile on right.

Trip 23: Lighthouse Heritage Preserve – Meet leader at Preserve. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately onto I-26 East, go 21.2 miles and continue on Septima Parkway (Crosstown)/Hwy. 17 South go 1.8 miles and stay left onto SC-30 (Folly Road), in about 2.5 miles stay left toward Folly Beach (Hwy. 171), go 9.1 miles and turn left onto E. Ashley Avenue, in 3.8 miles there is curbside and lot parking.

Trip 24: Ft. Moultrie/Breach Inlet – Meet leader at Ft. Moultrie Visitor Center Parking lot on Intracoastal Waterway side. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately onto I-26 East. Go 21.3 miles and take exit 220 from I-26E to Mount Pleasant, stay in the right two lanes to exit onto Coleman Blvd., go 2.7 miles to Middle St., turn right, go about 2 miles and the Ft. Moultrie Museum/Visitor Center will be on the right, park in lot behind Center.

Trip 25: Ft. Lamar/Sunrise Park – Meet leader at Ft. Lamar Parking area. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately onto I-26 East, go 21.2 miles and continue on Septima Parkway (Crosstown)/Hwy. 17 South go 1.8 miles and stay left onto SC-30 (Folly Road), in about 2.5 miles stay left toward Folly Beach (Hwy. 171). In 5.4 miles turn left on Grimball Road, .5 miles turn right onto Old Military Rd., .3 miles turn left onto Ft. Lamar Rd., .8 miles parking area on left.

Trip 26: Francis Marion National Forest – Meet leader at intersection of Hwy. 17 and I'on Swamp Road, on I'on Swamp Road. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately turn right onto I-26 East. In 12.9 miles merge onto I-526E, in 12 miles take exit 29 to Georgetown and keep right, turn left onto Hwy. 17N, go 14.9 miles north on Hwy 17 onto I'on Swamp Road, a U.S. Forest Service Road.

Trip 29: Orangeburg Sod Farm: Meet leader in parking lot of office of Sod Farm on Hwy. 301. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and cross over I-26 and turn left onto I-26W, go 44.6 miles to exit 154A and in approximately 1 mile Super Sod Blvd. and the office of the Sod Farms will be on the left, meet in the parking lot.

Trip 31: Pitt St./Patriot's Point: Meet leader at Pitt St. Causeway entrance. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and immediately onto I-26 East. Go 21.3 miles and take exit 220 from I-26E to Mount Pleasant, stay in the right two lanes to exit onto Coleman Blvd., cross Shem Creek turn right on Whilden St. which continues as Royall Ave., turn right on McCants Dr., turn left on Pitt St. and proceed to parking area.

Trip 32: Edisto Nature Trail: Trail is closed due to hurricane damage. Meet leader at hotel for trip to Hyde Park Rd. nearby. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A,, turn right and in .4 miles turn left onto SC-165 (Berlin Myers Parkway), go 2.7 miles and turn left on Carolina Avenue, go .2 miles and turn right onto Bacons Bridge Rd. (SC-165), and in about 13 miles you will intersect with Hyde Park Rd. and will be traveling west, meet at intersection on west side.

Trip 36: Santee National Wildlife Refuge – Meet leader at hotel. From the hotel parking lot turn left onto Holiday Drive to traffic light at Hwy 17A, turn left and cross over I-26 and turn left onto I-26W, go 29.9 miles to exit 169B to I-95N toward Florence, in 16 miles take exit 102 for US-15/US-301 to Ft. Watson Rd, turn right onto Ft. Watson Rd. go 1.1 miles and turn left into refuge, and in .3 mile will be the visitor center parking lot.
