The bird in the first photo is of one of the following two subspecies: either Cistothorus palustris dissaeptus or Cistothorus palustris waynei. Both of these subspecies migrate from parts North and spend the winter in SC and points further south. In the second photo, the bird on the left is the same individual as in the first photo. The bird on the right is of the subspecies Cistothorus palustris griseus, also known as Worthington's Marsh Wren. This local subspecies is non-migratory.
