[edit] Description

Lake Greenwood State Recreation Area has a nice bit of mixed pine – hardwood forest on the shores of Lake Greenwood, as well as pine-covered peninsulas that jut out into the lake. It is a fine place to look for migrant warblers, especially in fall, and also for unusual wintering species on the lake. The park is a good companion site to nearby Ninety Six National Historic Site.
